Aurora Borealis
So, I’m seriously fascinated with the Northern Lights and have always been jealous of photographers lucky enough to capture these unearthly events on film.
Now the Canadian website Astronomy North offers time-lapse videos of these beautiful light shows! And, they’re simply amazing!!!! See for yourself.

So, New Years Eve was somewhat disappointing this year… it was the first one I’ve spent in the Mountain Time Zone and I wasn’t prepared for the uneventfulness. The local TV stations covered the Live NYC celebration and the ball dropped promptly at 10:00PM MT. I figured 2 hours later Denver would broadcast it’s own celebration on the local news or maybe plug-in to a time...
